We would like to welcome back our members and guests to the 2011 golf season. You will see many new things at the club this year including our new golf professional, Bill Rendall and his wife Jama. They come to us from Henderson, Kentucky and are looking forward to bringing new and fun events to our membership this season. Some of these things include traveling groups to play courses that have held major championships in our region, Ryder Cup Matches for both men and women with courses in our area and Friday Night 2 Ball for couples and their guests which will include from time to time dinner and music by local groups. We will also have special events like major pools, Indy 500 qualifiers, booty holes, closest to pins and can't lose contests all year long. Remember, Sunday, March 6th at 6pm we will hold a reception to welcome our new members and Club Pro to our Boonville family.
Bill also brings an array of new talents to the club, from club repair to teaching credentials from some of the finest teachers in the game today. Lessons and club repair will be available daily. Bill can replace a grip in a minute and send you back out to play immediately with your club. Shaft repair, if not in detail, can be replaced within 15 minutes or so. Lessons begin at $40 for 45 minutes for groups, couples or individuals. Bill will also give playing lessons for $50 for 9 holes. Please call the shop for further details at 897-1370.
Our membership drive is in full swing and if you have a friend sitting on the fence about joining, bring them to the club and let Bill and his staff show them what a fun and valuable asset it can be for themselves, their family and their business.
